Casting
Casting is how you show your client the creators you are proposing and let them approve or reject each one, from a link and without needing an Influgest account.
What a casting round is
A casting round is a selection of creators from the campaign that you send to the client to decide on. The tab itself sums it up: you send the client a public link so they can approve or reject creators before confirming the campaign, and each new batch is a version.
That idea of versions matters. If the client turns down half your proposal, you do not edit the previous round: you create another one with new names. Rounds stay numbered (v1, v2…), so you can always see what you proposed and when.
Creating a casting
First you need creators in the campaign: a casting proposes people who are already in. If the campaign is empty, add them first.
- 1
Open New casting
In the campaign’sCastingtab, clickNew casting. - 2
Choose who you are proposing
Tick the creators you want to show. You have a search box and theSelect allandDeselect allshortcuts. They do not have to be everyone in the campaign. - 3
Decide what the client sees
In theWhat the client seesblock you can switch onHide agreed rateandHide followers. The second one is useful if you would rather the brand compared by engagement instead of by volume. - 4
Create and share the link
Once you confirm, the link is generated and copied to your clipboard automatically: all you have to do is paste it into your email or message to the client.
Following a round
Every casting appears in the list with its version and how far along it is:
- Counters for
Approved,RejectedandPending, with a progress bar so you can see at a glance how much the client still has to decide. Copy link, in case you need to resend it, andOpen, which shows you exactly the same view the client sees.- The
Expiredmark when the round is no longer active: the link stops showing creators.
What the client sees and does
The client opens the link in their browser and gets a page of their own, with no sign-up and no password. The welcome text explains the job: the agency is proposing these creators for the campaign, they can approve or reject each one, leave a comment to explain their decision and change their mind while the round is still open.
- One card per creator, with the information you decided to show (followers and agreed rate, if you have not hidden them).
- The
ApproveandRejectbuttons, and an optional comment per creator. - The
View Instagram profilelink, to check the real account before deciding.
How the decision comes back to the campaign
You do not have to copy anything by hand. Every decision the client makes updates the creator’s status in the Creators tab:
| What the client does | Creator status |
|---|---|
| Has not decided yet | Casting · pending — proposed and waiting. |
Approve | Casting · approved — ready for you to confirm as Participating. |
Reject | Casting · refused — from there the only way out is Declined. |
After the casting
The client’s approval does not confirm the creator in the campaign by itself: you are the one who moves them to Participating once you close the deal. From there production begins —instructions, drafts and publishing— which is explained in Creators and statuses.
